A smoky eye doesn't have to be black and gray. Take a cue from Genelia D'Souza's lavender version on the latest issue of Marie Claire India. To get her look, apply a dash of blueish lavender shadow pulled across the lid and upwards at the corner. The look is both innocent with just a touch of vamp. An all over wash of the lightest sparkly pink finishes the sweet but striking look. Genelia went with a bright coral look to keep with the color blocking theme, and a light dusting of peach blush on the apples of her cheeks.

Make-up Trend: Cat-Eye Eye Shadow
Looking gorgeous on this month's issue of Elle India is Genelia D'Souza. Her gorgeous dress and artful lids popped! Rather than sweeping a light wash of powder on your entire lid, try something a little more dramatic: Dip your brush in water and draw the shadow up in the crease with steady, painterly strokes. Flicking it upwards slightly at the corners. Add a bright pop of color on your lips for a girly touch!

Make-up Trend: Clear, Flawless Skin
"Naturally gorgeous" are two words that come to mind when you think of this month's Cosmopolitan India cover girl, Genelia D'Souza. On this month's cover she shows off her gorgeous blemish-free skin. If stress tends to affect your complexion, try a two-pronged approach with a salicylic acid based cleanser and microfiber exfoliating pads. The acid will prevent blemishes from forming while the pads will buff away pore-inflaming dead skin cells.

Genelia D'Souza's Speaks to Vogue India Beauty
Genelia's beauty must-haves: Use a good moisturizer for a cleaner, fresher look and some tinted blush on cheeks to add an instant pop of color to the face.
Day and night looks: I like my day look to be as simple as possible; fresh skin, some kajal, a light blush, mascara and sun block. Bright eyes are a must for a night out. I love experimenting with different colored eye shadows: sky blue and aquamarine to name a few, and hues of purple for eyeliners. They work amazingly in accentuating my eyes.
Date-night look: Sun-kissed skin, nude or pink lips and bright eyes.
Spa fix: A protein treatment and hair spa from Kroma Kay is an absolute must.
Hair Tips: You should condition your hair before a blow-dry and it is vital to get all the conditioner washed off your hair. I don't like to use a lot of product on my hair and set it in a particular way while blow-drying; I usually just ease it out a bit, I like my hair shiny and full of volume.

Make-up Trend: Fuchsia Lips
From Anamika Khanna to Manish Arora, fall runways are jam-packed with acid-bright neon colors. We could add a flirty neon dress or a pair of funky stlettos to our wardrobe. But instead, why not stick to basic black and add a burst of color on your lips like Genelia D'Souza did on the latest issue of Filmfare? If bright lips are not your thing, try a tinted lip balm to get a hint of brightness.Rec: YSL Pure Lipstick in 19 Fuchsia Pink
