Make-up Trend: Hot Pink Lips

What used to be over the top is now summer's hottest makeup trend: hot pink lips. The gret thing about this trend is it is so wearable with jeans and a shirt or a shalwar kameez as we see what Yukhta Mookhey opted for. She chose a vibrant bubblegum pink hue at the Bombay Times Super Mom 2009 Pageant, which contained a hint of blue to brighten her smile. If that is too bright for you, try a more sheer pink gloss.

Make-up Trend: Straight Eyeliner

A fully-rimmed eye adds major ooo-la-la drama for a night out. And while we love liquid eyeliner, it can be frustrating to draw a line as straight as Yukta Mookhey's.

Stay in line! Start by rimming eyes with liner and don't worry if it isn’t perfectly straight. Then lightly dip a Q-tip in eye makeup remover and gently smooth it along the top of the liquid liner line to create a clean edge. Apply shadow after this step so you don't wipe it away.
