Make-up Trend: Matte to Dewy Skin

Buh-bye high-shine makeup! Priyanka Chopra's skin looks ready for the transition from summer into fall with an ever-so-soft dewy finish on September's Vogue India issue.

Avoid the greasiness! Prep bare skin with an oil-absorbing makeup primer, which soaks up shine before it has a chance to affect cosmetics. After applying makeup, gently dab your T-zone with translucent powder. (Look for a finely milled formula, which looks natural, not dusty).

Make-up Trend: Shiny Nude Lips

Rani Mukherji finally came out of hiding, and was found in the buff this week at a book launch. Her beige glossy pucker played up her signature pouty lips without the "Look at me!" statement of an ultra-bright hue.

Looks can be deceiving when it comes to nude lip gloss. If you wear it on bare lips, the final shade will look muddy. Instead, diminish pinkish tones in your lips with a light coat of foundation before applying nude liner and gloss.

Make-up Trend: Rosy Cheeks

"We wanted Bipasha's makeup to be very soft and glowy to match her ultra-feminine white Blank dress," says celebrity makeup artist Satorii Pond. "She looked like a young girl who had just been running outside in the meadows."

The best trick to get photo-friendly shimmer that's not too high-shine? "Build shiny blush across the cheekbones up to the temples, sweeping only a light layer at a time with a fan brush," adds Satorii.
