WLIFW: Video Feature: M.A.C Pro Artist Martina L in Conversation

Martina Lucetti, M.A.C PRO Artist is interviewed by the Indiwo backstage team. She talks about her favorite M.A.C Products which are Pink Poodle lipglass, she describes it as "a very very bright pink." She also adds, "But it's beautiful, it's pretty, it's not too much in your face, but still compliments your face." Her favorite lipstick of all time is Ruby Woo, she describes it as a "bright red, completely matte, it feels like powder. She adds, "In fact when I am putting it on, you really have to push it, really work it in to the lips, but then again it stands out beautifully." She thinks the biggest mistake women make on their face is when they are shining around their nose and under the eyes, for that you should always carry Blot Powder with you. Another big mistake is putting on too much foundation and concealer, she stresses on the idea that "less is more, leave transparency on your skin, conceal only where it is needed!"

WLIFW: Ashima and Leena BACKSTAGE

Designer duo Ashima and Leena presented a collection called Temps de Luxe that had an aura of opulence that was very Hollywood diva-esque. And the make-up had that same sensuous appeal."It's one of my favorite looks," says Martina Luisetti, M.A.C PRO make-up artist who did the look for this show. "There is a focus on the lips which I believe are the window to a woman's soul," she shares in her very sexy Italian accent. She shows us how to get the look.

She gave the models a matte look, by using Studio Fix Fluid, then she used Artifact Paint Pot to give their lips that precise definition, yet not stark looking. The idea is to have the lips looking like rose petals. Next, she applied Hot Stuff Plushglass to plump up their lips and give them that sensuous touch.

The eye shape emphasized the cinematic thirties style. So she went with soft eye make-up which was blended into the eye. She used Blackground Paint Pot to create a smoky feeling and add a little shimmer to the eyelid. She then applied Plushblack Plush Lash Mascara to their eyelashes to open up their eyes and give them that dreamy, starry look!

LAFW: Falguni and Shane Peacock BACKSTAGE

Fellow blogger, Erika Valente the administrator of Makeup Bag, is live reporting from LA's Fashion Week. This week she had an opportunity to get a sneak peek at Falguni and Shane Peacock's show in LA. Here's what Tiffany Johnson, M.A.C Senior Artist at the show told her they used on the models.

Erika reported, "All the models sported matte skin and lips with a gorgeous shimmery eye. M.A.C Pigment in Old Gold was the star of the show with its ability to absorb the skin’s undertone and reflect differently on each model. The blackened burgundy lips were created by mixing M.A.C PRO Lipsticks in Full Chocolate and Charred Red. A hint of blush for a healthy cheek and a ton of mascara on the top lashes only finished the look."
