M.A.C Spring/Summer Trend 1: Neo-Dynamic

Click on the image to zoom in

Soft Play

The only lip that you can play against neo-dynamic eyes: natural and a little lush. Here, C-Thru Tinted Lipglass finished with a soft layer of Lip Conditioner SPF 15.

Deep Dynamics
Apply Nehru Eye Shadow all over eyelid and line the middle of the lower lashline with Pale Yellow Eye Pencil. Line the upper lashline with Powerpoint Eye Pencil in Grey Utility winging it upwards then line the inner third of the lower lashline, extending slightly past the tear duct and the outer third of the lower lashline, winging upwards. Softly blend the eyeliner on the outer corner of the eyes upwards. Using a 239 Brush, lightly apply Dazzlelight Eye Shadow over the middle of the lower lashline for a blended and diffused look.

Sculpturesque
In a sweeping motion towards the temples, contour the hollows of the cheeks with Powder Blush in Sincere and a 168 Brush. Apply a light layer of Half 'n Half Lipstick and top off with Chai Tinted Lipglass.

White Line Fever
Apply a stark white line on the top lashline with Gesso Eye Shadow and a 263 Brush. With the same brush and Blacktrack Fluidline, apply a slightly thicker line above the white eye line, winging it upwards.

Angelina Jolie's Make-up Breakdown

This blog is solely based on Bollywood's make-up trends, but Angelina's features are very Aishwarya Rai-esque, which in turn her make-up suits Pakistani/Indian women as well. I love her, and think she ethereal. Here's her make-up breakdown from the recently SAG Awards.

Angelina Jolie turned heads at this year’s SAG awards with her billowy vintage Hermes gown from N.Y.C’s Rare Vintage. Makeup artist Mary Burton played up the ’60s/’70s vintage feel of the dress by keeping the makeup natural. Since Angelia doesn’t like too much color on her face, Burton used Chanel’s Pro Lumiere foundation, — mixing several shades to match her skin. She applied Laura Mercier powder blush, as an orange-y tint for her cheekbones. For her eyes, Burton used Shiseido’s Hydro-Powder Eye Shadow, for a light, creamy color on her lid and under her eyebrow. She lined her lid with a liquid eyeliner from Lancome. Burton used two mascaras from Lancome — one to lengthen, and one to volumize. The lips were kept neutral using Cargo’s beige high-definition lipgloss compact.

Make-up Trend: Easy, Simple Make-up

I'm sure Diya Mirza's makeup is more than just a little eyeliner, blush and lip stain, it gives the appearance of being utterly simplistic and at the same time stunning. Keep the eyes basic: a flesh-color base all-over the lid, followed by liner on the inside of the lower line and along the upper lash line. Then swipe a pretty pink stain over lips.

Newbies
, stick to kohl pencils—they tend to be easier to work with than liquid liners. If a pencil seems stiff, soften it by wrapping a fist around the pencil for ten seconds to warm it.

O.P.I Nail Polish India Inspired Collection

I'm a generally not a fan of nailpolishes, but I recently came across an ad in Allure Magazine, that made me stop dead in my tracks. It had a girl dressed as a bride, wearing anklet attached to a toe ring, with Curry Up Don't Be Late on her toes. This collection has a shade for everyone, and it is especially made keeping in mind us desi-skinned ladies (If any of you can scan me that picture I will love you forever, I seem to have misplaced my copy). Ladies enjoy these while they last.

  • I’m Indi-a Mood for Love: hot pink
  • ElePhantastic Pink: carnation pink
  • Black Cherry Chutney: dark black-red
  • Keys to my Karma: rich red
  • MonSooner or Later: orange-red

Make-up Trend: Long Lasting Lipcolor

Kareena Kapoor got her own dose of lip service for The Star Screen Awards. Create a long-lasting pout by filling in your lips with a water-proof lip liner. Then, to give it a vintage glamour feel, add a sheer, coat of shiny gloss.

Want to get this mega-watt smile? Kareena kept Lancôme Fever lip gloss in On Fire in her purse for pre-picture touch ups.

Make-up Trend: Raccoon Eyes

Embrace your animal instincts, like Vidya Balan, by rimming the circumference of your eyes with dramatic smoky shadow. Line both eyes with black kohl liner, then brush matte charcoal or brown shadow around eyes and up into the crease of lids.

Raccoon eyes should look tame, not rabid: Dust a generous amount of loose powder under your eyes before starting. It will catch flakes and dripping powder. Sweep it away with a tissue when finished.

Make-up Breakdown by Aniruddha C

Face
Keeping close to actress Deepika’s skin tone, Aniruddha uses a blend of M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid and M.A.C Studio Fix to give a matte-dewy look. This is followed by M.A.C Select Sheer/Loose Powder.

Eyes
Deepika’s eyes are “her most attractive feature”, feels Aniruddha. The idea is to accentuate the pretty pair to pop like no other. A combination of medium brown (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Cork) and purplish pink eye shadow (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Plum Dressing) has been used on the inner eyelid. The outer corner stands out with a moss green hue (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Flourishing). A silver-gold eye shadow (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Satin Taupe) on the brow bone. The upper and lower lids are outlined with moss green kohl (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Uniform).
A blend of silver (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Greyprint) and black kohl (M.A.C Technakohl Liner in Graphblack) is applied under the eye. False eyelashes (M.A.C #4 Lashes) and three coats of M.A.C Mascara X are the dramatic finishing touches.

Cheeks
Deepika has a heart-shaped face with a pointed chin and naturally defined cheekbones. Aniruddha highlights her cheekbones further with a brownish peach blush (M.A.C Powder Blush in Coppertone).

Lips
The lips should not shift focus from the eyes, so they are filled with a baby pink shade (M.A.C Pro Longwear Lipcolor in Durashell).

Make-up Tips from the Artists

  • Mally Roncal creates smoldering smoky eyes on clients all the time. Use Lancome Dual Finish Powder in a shade two hues deeper than your skin to slim your face. Brush it along the hairline from ear to ear, then dust your jawbone.

Paul Starr applying lipstick to a model

  • Paul Starr is known for pushing the makeup envelope and his clients. As you age, the outside corners of your mouth and eyes darken. Lightening them with concealer takes off years. He loves Yves Saint Laurent Anti-Cernes Multi-Action Concealer

  • Matin says, "To get the illusion of higher cheekbones, apply pink blush along the top of cheek apples. Use a non-fluffy blunt-cut brush." His favorite blush? It has to be M.A.C blush in Desert Rose

Aniriddha C's Make-up Trends for 2008

If you want to take some load off your traincase this summer, get rid of the lipstick. Chances are, you are not going to need much of them this season.

One look at the faces that stare at you from the covers of fashion magazines is enough to drive home the make-up mantra of the moment: nude lips are the hottest thing to flaunt right now.

Minimalism, with luminous, clear skin can be the biggest style statement. The main touch of color to this clean look has to be in the eye region.

“Clean skin, dark eyes and clear lips define the look of the season,” feels make-up artist Aniruddha Chakladar. “Even on the ramp, caked foundation is totally out. I am only using as much base as is necessary to conceal blemishes. A little bit of blush and very little shimmer is all that I recommend for the face.”

For the eyes, the defined eyeliner look is passé and the smudged kôhl effect is more in fashion, he adds. “Lots of color for the eyes is what is in now, especially shades of pinks, peaches and light orange. Kôhl pencils in these shades can be used above the eyes and smudged to get the right effect. Mascara is a must as this “gives density” to the eyes. “A little bit of shimmery eye shadow completes the look. For the lips, very subdued or no lipstick is recommended. And even if someone is using lipstick, it has to be a creamy one, and not glossy. And lip-liner is a total no-no,” he stresses.

“Kôhl is very in right now as the eyes can be made to look very dark using different colored pencils. Colors like peach and light orange are hot for the more adventurous kinds, but for others, brick orange is a good option. The shadow has to be in a natural tone and the lips should be kept clear. If one wants to use lipsticks, warm tones like pinks and peaches are in fashion,” is what Anuruddha recommends.

“Healthy glowing skin looks best in the summer. You just have to add a bit of shimmer to it with some bronzer. Lots of kôhl and some black shadow for the eyes and muted lips with only a touch of gloss will do the trick,” she feels.

“In this heat, the stress should be more on skin care than make-up. The skin should be kept as uncluttered as possible. So, a clean face with some kôhl and mascara for the eyes should be enough,” he says.

With all eyes focussed on the eye, the smoky look continues to enjoy good times. While on the fashion ramps a new twist has appeared with gold or bronze shadow, black and gray still dominate.

“To achieve the smoky look, you have to put some black and gray eye shadow on the lid above the upper lid and blend it well from dark to light. But the easy and faster way to do it is to put kôhl heavily on the upper lid and smudge it into the lids,” advises Aniruddha.

Make-up Trend: Red Nails

Bollywood is full of celebrities wearing nails to match the red carpet. Whether you choose to sizzle like Soha Ali Khan in garnet or opt for a tomato or cherry hue, be sure to apply clear top coat for a brilliant, chip-resistant finish.

To lift yellow nail stains caused by pigments in dark polish, scrub nails with baking-soda toothpaste and an old toothbrush.

Make-up Talk with Abhijit Chanda

Base routine
"Clean, tone and moisturize" It is the golden rule of make-up. And contrary to popular belief, this one’s not just for theoretical purposes. Cleaning and toning take care of the obvious environmental dirt and also the alkaline balance of your skin. His favorites are: M.A.C Green Gel Cleanser, M.A.C Charged Water/Renewal Defense, M.A.C Moisturelush Cream.
Moisturizing it has more than one advantage, not only does it help the make-up base glide on smoothly, the act of application of the cream itself is as a mini-massage for your face. It relaxes your facial muscles while improving the lymphatic drainage. As a result, your face looks and feels very fresh. But be sure to remove excess moisturizer, otherwise the foundation will not set well.
Great-looking skin needn’t worry much about the base. A sunscreen based primer (M.A.C Prep + Prime Protect SPF50) for the day and a tinted moisturizer (M.A.C Select Tint) for the night works just as well. But if foundation is a must, then dot (my favorite) M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid all over your face and blend with a sponge. Use a stick foundation as a concealer something like, M.A.C Studio Stick and then blend well.
Finally, dust some translucent powder (M.A.C Select Sheer/Loose Powder) to lock in the base. Lightly remove any excess and your face is all ready to take on the color, shimmer and sparkle.

Brush basics
Collecting two dozen professional brushes isn’t exactly what the make-up gurus prescribe, but at the same time cutting it down to just one or two isn’t wise either.
Have at least five brushes in hand, brushes eye shadow (M.A.C 252 Brush for the lids; M.A.C 217 Brush for blending; M.A.C 224 Brush for crease), lips (M.A.C 318 Brush), eyebrows (M.A.C 208 Brush), powder and an angular one (M.A.C 169 Brush) to contour features like cheekbones and jaw line.
A soft, fat brush for the blush may look very tempting, but it’s better to use a smaller, slightly flatter brush (M.A.C 134 Brush) to increase control of quantity and target the right spot, rather than just spreading the color at random.
Keeping these brushes clean is a must. Soak them in lukewarm water and shampoo for 10 minutes. Clean them by rolling them on your palm and let them dry naturally. View your brushes as an investment and you’ll look after them just right.

Right light
The occasion and the time of the event are the deciding factors for the make-up, but applying it in the right light matters the most.
Never under a tube light, make sure that you paint that grease always in a bright, yellow light.
Daylight does just as well, but doing up your face at the mercy of a tube is the biggest beauty faux pas ever.

Highlight zone
Asian skin tones usually needs only two shades of blush, a brownish pink (M.A.C Powder Blush in Format) and peach (M.A.C Powder Blush in Springsheen). The fairer complexions can also add a third hue in the form of pink (M.A.C Powder Blush in Dollymix).
Study your face carefully and ascertain the features you want to downplay. If you have a heavy chin, apply a darker blush.
Similarly, put some shadow on the sides of your nose and highlight the bridge with a light shimmer. If you have high cheekbones, apply the blush directly to accentuate them. If not, suck in your cheeks and dust a darker shade of blush below the cheekbones and a lighter one above.
Use any form of highlighter carefully, lest it catches light in the wrong places.

Mascara move
Look up, chin up and then apply mascara. Start with your upper lashes from below. This helps in volumizing the lashes. Do the same from above and the result: perfectly curled lashes. Repeat this twice for a fuller effect.
For the lower lashes, hold your mascara vertically and brush past your lashes. Finally, use an eyebrow comb to separate any clumps.

Eye appeal
If your eyes are a little swollen or plump, then choose darker shadows that downplay them. Avoid a thick stroke of eye-liner, smudge the shadow and the liner well. Small and deep-set eyes call for thicker lines and lighter shades.
If you have bags under the eyes, draw a thin line of kohl or liner. If you don’t want to wear kohl, substitute it with some shadow.
A great idea is to dab some light shimmery shadow on the center of the eyelid, just above your eyeballs. The effect is simply stunning.
Eyebrows play a large role in framing your face and threading or plucking them is not enough.
If your eyebrows are thick and jet black, then remember to swipe some transparent mascara to remove excess powder and foundation. If they are thin and scanty, dust some dark brown shadow for a finishing touch.
If they are neither thin nor heavy, a light touch of black mascara should do. Even out any kind of cut mark or scar with an eyebrow pencil. Finally, comb it out with an eyebrow comb.

Luscious lips
Opt for the natural look and top off with some clear gloss (M.A.C Clear Lipglass), preferably heavy in nature. Apply lip gloss with a brush and feel the difference.
To make the color stay longer, apply some base on your lips while preparing your face.
If the winter has made your lips dry and cracked, then apply lip balm (M.A.C Lip Conditioner) as you begin with your face.
Go on to do your eyes and then re-apply the balm on your lips. Smooth and in near-perfect condition again, your lips will then be ready for any color, all for that sexy pout.
Thick lips should avoid dark hues of lipsticks and thin lips can surely afford to experiment with many such hues.

Make-up Trend: Glowing Skin

Ever wished you could extend last night's soft candlelight glow to the next day? Now you can replicate that coveted sexy illumination with a soft dusting of beige (not bronze or pink) shimmer powder along brow and cheekbones.

Go easy on areas such as forehead, nose and chin—too much light-reflecting product on those areas can look like perspiration. Shimmer can also draw attention to irregular skin texture, so try this look when skin is clear, like Katrina Kaif's.

Manish Malhotra's Make-up Favorites

  • Always soft and neat, Manish doesn’t endorse the untidy look one bit.

  • The overall look of the face has to be nude and soft.

  • The lipstick should always be a brownish pink (M.A.C Lipstick in Viva Glam 5), topped with lots of gloss (M.A.C Tinted Lipgloss in Viva Glam 5).

  • Not too much color in the form of garish eye shadow, he prefers the natural or the smudged smoky look.

  • An elaborate hairdo has to be balanced with a no make-up feel.

Make-up Trend: Rich Coral Lips

Orange lipstick is coming out of retirement by playing up celebrity pouts in a shiny, modern way. Celina knows coral flatters everyone.

Keep the look modern and youthful by opting for a sheer gloss, rather than a heavy, pigmented one.

Make-up Trend: Flattering Red Lips

The key to wearing red lipstick is finding the right red. Try this quick test: If the veins on the underside of your wrist appear green, you probably have warm skin tones and should try a an orange-based hue. Blue veins generally indicate cooler tones, so opt for a shade with a blueish tint.

Still timid to try bold red? Try putting the lipstick on your finger, then blot it on top of balm-coated lips to create a sheer stain.

Beauty Talk with Amrita Arora and Clint Fernandes

Your beauty secrets…
It has to be cleansing, toning and moisturizing. I avoid applying anything that is damaging to my hair. As kids, my sister and myself were not allowed to put make-up. But at that age, make-up fascinates you. So we would rub beetroot for that pink blush on the cheeks! It’s a make-up tip that has stuck with me. Rub some beet on your cheeks and keep it on for a few minutes before washing it off with water. Just make sure it’s not on your cheeks for too long. The effect then is not pink but purple!

What do you always carry in your bag?
Wallet, house keys, Kiehl's Lip Balm #1, M.A.C Eye Kohl in Smolder and my nephew’s pictures.

Clint Fernandes has worked with Bollywood biggies like Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, and Amrita Arora. He has assisted “hair maestro” Laurent Philippon. “Make-up is an art. I never get tired of it,” feels Clint, for whom the learning process is always on. “Every time I visit the Paris couture and pret seasons, I pick up new ways and techniques,” he smiles. We caught him applying make-up to one of his favorites. Clint shared a tip or two about make-up and hair...

What are the current trends in hair and make-up?

Metallic is in. Gold and glitter are hot. The 40s look is back. Go in for smoky eyes. When it comes to lip color, apart from the flesh tones, red, pink and magenta are in. Hair could be kept straight, or you could go the glam curl way.
The worst make-up mess you have seen?
The wrong base color. Often girls assume that they are fairer than they actually are. They end up looking like ghosts.
Must-haves in you make-up bag…
M.A.C Studio Fix, M.A.C Moisturelush Cream and M.A.C Lipsticks, which he adds are the best.

Who do you enjoy working with?
Malaika Arora Khan. Whether you put make-up on her or not, she always looks great. Her skin just picks up light naturally. Laila Rouass is good too.

How good is the Pakistani/Indian cosmetics industry compared to the foreign products?
They are on a par with international standards. Customers need to change the way they think: anything desi (Pakistani/Indian) need not be bad. But there are not many credible professionals there, most people do it as a side thing.

Make-up Trend: Tapered Eyeliner

Thick liner goes well with smoky eyes, but if you want to subtly simmer, try a gradually thinning line, like Bipasha Basu. Use a gel liner to draw a thin rim along upper lash lines. Go over the outer half of each eye one more time, and extend slightly beyond the eye.

The secret to this look: Line the bottom corner of each eye to accentuate the outer edge and create an exotic almond shape. If done correctly, outer corners will look like a sideways capital Y.

Make-up Trend: Layered Black and Turquoise Eyeshadow

Beauties like Urmila show, combining turquoise and jet black eye shadow makes your eyes pop! Blue shadow can be intimidating to wear alone because of its boldness, and black is severe, but mixing the two creates a deep colorful glow: Rim top lashlines in black pencil, then retrace with bright blue powder.

Add another hint of tint by dabbing blue mascara on the tips of your top lashes.

Deepika Padukone's O.S.O Make-up Breakdown

This breakdown is done by celebrity make-up artist Namrata for Om Shanti Om.

Face

Cleanse, tone and moisturize. Dot M.A.C Studio Fix Fluid NC30 or NC35 over your face. This is what we used for Deepika. Do a test, checking it out in natural light. Cover dark circles/hollowed eyes, with M.A.C Studio Stick Concealer in NC20, make sure just a hint of the product is used. Too much coverage can have an opposite effect to what is desired and your eyes will end up looking dry, lined and submerged in shadows. Dust your face with M.A.C Select Sheer Loose Powder, paying special attention to the T-zone. Suck cheeks in and then, very sparingly dab on M.A.C Powder Blush in Raizin on the cheekbones. Lightly dab on, M.A.C Loose Iridescent Powder in Golden Bronze over the blush.

Eyes
Use a shimmer-based ivory highlighter on your brow bone (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Nylon) and blend well. Pick any three dominant colors used on your clothes, (we will use purple). Apply the lightest shade all over the lids (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Beautiful Iris), then the darker shade in the crease (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Satellite Dreams), working towards the outer areas under the eyebrows, and then the darkest shade (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Purple Haze) in a triangular shape towards the outermost area of the eyes. A contrasting color (M.A.C Eye Shadow in Blue Storm) of your choice can dot the area just above the lash line — this will update the whole effect! Apply a gel-based liner (M.A.C Fluid Line in Blacktrack) (color of your choice, the more experimental the better) all the way from the inner corner of the eye to about a quarter inch past the actual area where the eyelid ends. This will make the eye look larger than it actually is. Draw a more refined/defined, line from the inner corner of your lower lid and work towards meeting the line drawn on the top. You can really use your imagination here — both with colors and technique — to elongate the line or single wing it! Apply mascara (M.A.C Plush Lash Mascara) to the lashes liberally, giving it time for drying between applications.

Lips
Outline lips with a nude lip pencil (M.A.C Cremestick Liner in Honey B). Dab on a glossy/flat nude lipstick (M.A.C Lipstick in Supersequin) that complements the overall tone of your outfit.

Make-up Trend: Defined Cheekbones

Movie stars are eager to sculpt more than just their abs and arms. By adding contour below your cheekbones, you can create the illusion of a more prominent bone structure, which is both slimming and flattering.

Using a small stiff blush brush (M.A.C 169 Angled Brush), sweep face powder under the raised line of your cheekbones, starting at your temples. Use one shade darker than your skintone—it looks natural, not like war paint.

Beauty Questions Answered

Dear imake-up readers,

I am finally back after a long and much needed break. I really missed you all and blogging. I came back to almost 500 unread messages in my inbox. I have decided to answer all your beauty related questions in this one post. It feels great to be back.
  • zara: Indian ppl's lps are gentically quite dark,How do the makeup artists get their lips looking so pale? Surely it has to be more than simply lipstick. like bipasha basu for example.please email back
    Dear zara,
Most make-up artists use a layer of concealer or foundation over the lips before applying lipsticks, so that the true color of the lipsticks/glosses is shown as opposed to it mixing with the color of the lips.

  • anshu7: hi hun.which lipstick can give me this look? http://www.pinkvilla.com/?q=node/14574
    Dear anshu7,
It looks like L'Oreal's Aishwarya Beige lipstick to me. She is usually found wearing that since she is the brand ambassador, and because it's her lipstick:)

  • ria: which part of the face do is good to highlight, to give the face a volume or shape?? The application of the black Eyeliner around celina jaitley's eyes is done so perfectly, BUT does she use "black eyeshadow" as well to get that effect? can you pretty plsss answer my question on forum pinkvilla make up "fine art of sculpture and contour and Celina Jaitley's eye makeup. NEED YOUR ADVISE AND TIPS. thank you xx
    Dear ria,
To give the face a sculpted, yet defined look, I would suggest contouring the cheeks, with a bronzer. This makes your face look defined and enhances your cheekbones. In many pictures, it looks like she does use a liquid liner as well as black eyeshadow on top of it to give a darker, smokier effect. I know she uses M.A.C, so try M.A.C Fluidline in Blacktrack and M.A.C Eye Shadow in Black Tied for a similar effect. Ria, if you could post the link from Pinkvilla here, it would be greatly appreciated.
  • Jasmine: what colors does aishwarya use in umaro jaan? i have tried to look for that lipstick but cant find it anywhere. Please help
    Dear Jasmine,
I have done a make-up breakdown of Ash's in Umrao Jaan here, Ash uses a lot of golds and neutrals in Umrao Jaan.

  • Rani: were can i buy some Kiehls moisturizer from ??
    Dear Rani,
Kiehl's is available at Saks Fifth Avenue as well as online. You can buy it here.

  • Ainy: That breakdown isnt the one i wanted...i am not talking bout the anne french one...doesnt my name direct you to the exact picture?
    Dear Ainy,
I had been busy last month, and didn't have time to do a lot of breakdowns, but if you still want the breakdown, send me the link, and I'll have it up asap. Sorry for the confusion.
  • pinkvilla: hey could you pls tell me how does shilpa's nose look small when she does up her make up since her nose is not tht small is thr a certain trick??
    Dear pinkvilla,
    • Apply darker shade of foundation on either side of the bridge of the nose.
    • Extend down along each side of the nose and blend.
    • Apply a thin line of a lighter shade of foundation down center of nose and blend.
    • To correct wide nostrils, apply darker shade on sides of nostrils and blend.

  • nicky: Hiya, Could you please post how to get this look. (the second picture)I love it but not sure how to go about it. Would be really grateful. Thanks
    Dear nicky,
I should have it up soon. Thanks for stopping by.

  • Anonymous: Hey there.. When you get back from your trip, can you please do a makeup breakdown of Parminder Nagra's?
    Dear Anonymous,
If you could direct me to link of a specific breakdown I would have a clearer picture of what you had in mind. If not, I will randomly choose a picture and post a breakdown for you. Thanks for stopping by.

Make-up Trend: Glowing Smoky Eyes

There's a soft sweetness to her eyes. They have a lot of depth. To get Deepika's sexy eyes, use a teak-hued eye liner to rim top lashlines, inside the lower lashlines and along the outer edges of lower lashes. Then set the liner by brushing on neutral earth tone shadows from Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Dunes. These shades create a soft glowing smoky eye, not harsh or heavy.

Bold liner looks naked without similarly bold lashes: Give eyes added depth by coating both upper and lower lash lines with two coats of volumizing mascara.
